Doug and Kayleen are in and out of each other’s lives over the course of 30 years. The two met in their school nurse’s office at age 8, and have since bonded over their physical and emotional wounds. This play examines the process of healing, dealing with pain, and for Doug and Kayleen, is the line blurred between love and codependency? Doug and Kayleen work to figure out where they stand with each other as they assess the past, examine the present, and move from one poignant memory to another.
